The brief 

Producing the film trailer in the style of warp film. The style of our film trailer would be social realism

Target audience 

Targeted towards the age range of 15 and above because of the se of strong language, violence and abuse. This is targeted at C1,C2 and D because this is based around social realism and how this is impacted on peoples lives.

Segment synopsis what is the narrative (no more than 100 words)

Set in sheffield where Wayne has grown up silent all his life because of being a social outcast This leads to years of bulling, physical force and depression. One day he is ganged up by two men who pick and push him around. All of a sudden the victim throws Royce in to the road, which causes a fatal accident. This leads the Michael to text him in death messages and trying to track him down. Which he does, however Silence kills.

Contingencies The back up plan/narrative , Locations and costumes move to another location for filming. If it rains put equipment away

Legal, ethical, scheduling and certification:

Based on the BBFC guidelines our trailer must adhere to imitable behaviour, violence and threat.


It is important to to follow these regulations because it is for a specific audience which we are aiming towards therefore we must follow the rules.


Our production adheres to imitable behaviour because we will be using a prop gun in our trailer that comes under the accessibility of weapons. This could depend on factors such as realism as stated in the BBFC guidelines. For violence our production follows the guidelines as we will not dwell on infliction and / or pain. Also we will not be showing any gore. Lastly our trailer adheres to the guideline threat as we will be using strong threat violence but we will not be showing any sadistic or sexual threat.


Our film trailer will be showed a post watershed because of the content and age rating, which will not be suitable for young viewers.


We will gain permission for copyright music be getting in contact with the owner. This will be done by email.


For the data protection law we will be using a release and cosent form to gain permission from the indivuals so that we have the rights to publish or broadcast the video.
